Third anniversary of a hung Parliament
Three years ago today Labor signed a deal with the independents and the Greens to form minority government, plunging our nation into chaos, division and dysfunction.
Australians are now confronting the real possibility of another hung Parliament and another three years of confusion and instability.
The grubby preference deals that Kevin Rudd and the Labor Party have forged with the Greens and independents such as Craig Thomson demonstrate that another hung Parliament is a real possibility.
Kevin Rudd’s only concern is retaining power and keeping his job – no matter the cost.
This election is the most important in a generation.
Australians are faced with a life-changing choice: a choice between a truly united Coalition with a real plan for our country’s future or three more years of the uncertainty and chaos Labor has given us; three more years of stifled investment, a strangled economy and an agenda captured by extremists and fringe groups.
The Coalition offers real change and will deliver a genuinely united government and a better future for all Australians.
We need a new way but to get a new way we must choose a new government – one with a positive plan to restore the hope, reward and opportunity that was once Australia’s birthright.
Don’t risk three more years like the last three. Australia can’t afford it.
