Budget continues to be implemented in the House of Representatives

Media release The Turnbull Government has had another successful week in the House of Representatives with the passage of Australian Education Amendment Bill which will finally deliver needs based-funding and commit an extra $18.6 billion for Australia’s schools over the next decade.
Mr Pyne said debate on the Budget will continue into next week in the House of Representatives.
"This budget will deliver the services Australians expects whilst also tacking the debt and deficit left to us by the previous Labor government."
“Our education reforms will clean up the mess Labor created in education funding with its 27 separate deals which mean a needy student in one state get up to $1500 less than if the same student was in the same school but in a different state†Mr Pyne said.
This week also saw the passage of the ASIC Supervisory Cost Recovery Levy Bills, which is a critical component of the government’s package of reforms to bolster ASIC to protect Australian consumers.
