Vinnies' CEO sleepout 2013

Article With more than half of all homeless people under the age of 24, homelessness disproportionately affects our children and youth. As Shadow Minister for Education, I care deeply about ensuring our children get the best possible start in life.
The Vinnies’ CEO Sleepout is a wonderful campaign that raises awareness on this very issue.
This is just a small part of the work that the St Vincent de Paul Society does to support the most needy in our community.
The $13 million this event has raised since 2006 has helped provide invaluable support to homeless people right around Australia.
I am very proud to be taking part in the Vinnies CEO Sleepout this year, and I encourage you to dig deep to support this important cause.
